Rally Navigator ("the app", "we", "us") is a driving navigation app that provides rally-style co-driver voice announcements. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled. By using the app you agree to this policy.
The app shares the minimum data necessary with these providers:
Rally Navigator requests background location access so that voice navigation and co-driver announcements continue when the screen is off or the app is in the background during a drive. Background location is only used while you have an active navigation session.
Account and usage data are kept while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us (see below); we will delete it within 30 days.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Depending on your country (including the EU/EEA under GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or object to its processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Rally Navigator is a driving aid. Curve call-outs, route analysis and navigation instructions are generated automatically from third-party map data and may be incomplete, mistimed or incorrect. Never rely on the app while driving: always drive attentively, adapt to the actual road, visibility, weather, signage and traffic laws. The driver remains solely responsible for the vehicle at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for any damage, injury, accident, fine or other loss arising from the use of the app — including, without limitation, curves that are called incorrectly, late, or not at all, or any other error, bug, inaccuracy or malfunction of the app. The app does not prevent accidents and provides no safety guarantee of any kind. You use it entirely at your own risk.
Legendary Stages, tracks & shared routes. Timed stages, tracks, "mythic road" runs and route-following are provided for entertainment and are intended only for closed roads, circuits or track days — never for racing or speeding on public roads. Segment start/finish points and geometry are approximate and may be inaccurate. Always obey all traffic laws and speed limits, respect local access rules, and drive responsibly. By running a stage or submitting a time you confirm it was done lawfully and safely; we are not responsible for how you drive or for any errors the app makes.
Speed records and leaderboards. Features that record top speed are intended exclusively for use on closed tracks and circuits, or on roads without a speed limit (for example, derestricted sections of the German Autobahn), driven legally and responsibly. By submitting a record you confirm it was achieved lawfully. We do not encourage or condone exceeding speed limits on public roads, and we may remove leaderboard entries that appear to result from illegal driving.
